🔥 Meet Layne – Chief Firestarter
He’s originally from Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario, a northern city known for its deep hockey roots — which makes perfect sense, because hockey has always been a huge part of his life.
Growing up, Layne played high-level hockey, chasing the dream of becoming a professional player. Unfortunately, an injury cut that dream short, but his passion for hard work, discipline, and teamwork carried him forward into new paths.
Today, Layne is proud to be an Instructor with Local 95 Heat and Frost Insulators Union, where he shares his skills and knowledge with the next generation of tradespeople. Teaching is something he’s passionate about — guiding others to succeed in a career that has given him so much.
When he’s not teaching, you’ll often find Layne enjoying his hobbies: whether that’s being outdoors, spending time with family, or staying connected to the game he’s always loved.
Layne’s story is one of resilience — proof that even when one dream ends, new ones can begin. 💪🏒
✨ What Layne brings to the adventure:
